NTMA raises €1 billion in latest auction of 10-year bonds

Sale of benchmark debt brings total raised so far this year to €5.75 billion

The National Treasury Management Agency has successfully auctioned €1 billion in 10-year bonds.

The debt, which will mature in 2024, was sold at a yield of 2.917 per cent.

The latest auction brings to €5.75 billion the amount raised by the NTMA so far this year, more than 70 per cent of its funding target of €8 billion for 2014.

The next auction will take place on May 8th.
