Ryanair is to introduce a new Dublin to Warsaw route from July, the airline confirmed today.

Ryanair is to introduce a new Dublin to Warsaw route from July, the airline confirmed today.

The no frills airline announced eight new routes from the Polish capital's new Modlin airport, which opens on July 16th.

The other routes announced include flights to and from London, Milan, Oslo, Rome, Stockholm, Brussels and Budapest.

The 8 new Warsaw routes will deliver an estimated 700,000 passengers per annum and create up to 700 local jobs at Modlin Airport.

Ryanair last week also confirmed plans to it open a base in Budapest by the end of the month.

The move will result in 31 new routes to Budapest airport and follows in the wake of the collapse of the national airline, Malev.
