Not so much a group exhibition, more “an editorial review with a critical and discursive position”. A review, that is, of the year in Irish art as seen in commercial and public galleries, independent projects, publishing and curatorial initiatives.

Eamonn Maxwell of Lismore Castle Arts and independent curator Pádraic E Moore look back over 2012, joined Pallas’s Gavin Murphy and Mark Clarke. They’ve devised “a magazine-like layout of images that speak”. The artists are Aideen Barry, Brendan Earley, Aleana Egan, Johnny Fitzsimmons, Damien Flood, Orla Galligan, Aoibheann Greenan, Allan Hughes, Ronnie Hughes, Sally Anne Kelly Kevin Gaffney, Sean Lynch, Isabel Nolan, Liam O’Callaghan, Helen O’Dea, Mark O’Kelly, Niamh O’Malley, Garrett Phelan, Amy Stephens and Mark Swords (picitured). It is, overall, “an exhibition as resource.”
