Anna Daucikova, Project Arts Centre

Installed in a warehouse space in a newly refurbished Georgian building, once home to Ireland’s first railway, the Dublin and Kingstown Railway Company, Elizabeth O’Kane shows a number of bronze and stone sculptures plus recent topographical watercolours of New York and printworks by Julie Ann Haines.

Third instalment of the touring group show, curated by Catherine Marshall, showcasing work by 26 artists at the Kilkenny Collective for Arts Talent (KCAT) in Callan, Co Kilkenny, together with work by artists from different contexts throughout Ireland arising from collaborations, residencies and conversations first initiated in 2014. Encompassing painting, sculpture, film, video, performance and installation.

Anna Daucikova, Project Arts Centre

Video and photographic works by Anna Daucikova offering an insight into how her decade in Moscow – the 1980s, before she returned to Bratislava in 1991 – influenced her development as artist, feminist and LGBT activist. Her working methods have included photography, photo-collage, performance and video. Thirty-three Situations (2007-2015), for example, reflects on her time in a communal apartment in Moscow.

Robert Russell of the Graphic Studio curated this Christmas gathering of original print works. The pitch is that everything included comes in at one of two price points, €150 and €250. The line-up of artists includes many experienced printmakers, including James McCreary, Gay O’Neill, Margaret Becker, Pamela de Bri, Pauline Kinahan.

Drawing on a formidable range of artists, the Fenderesky promises perpetual renewal throughout the run of its winter exhibition. You may not be quite sure what you’ll find if you visit, but the quality is guaranteed. A sample of the artists involved: Sinéad Aldridge, Natalia Black, Chung Eun Mo, David Crone, Fionnnuala D’Arcy, Patrick Michael Fitzgerald, Mary McIntyre, Helen O’Leary and John Noel Smith. Plus the storeroom will be open for viewing.
