Pac-Manhas certainly stood the test of time. Google even created a playable "doodle" for its 30th anniversary last year. The Pac-Man Championship Editionmini is playable on both PS3 and PSP. This time the maze remains 2D. Clear half of the maze and a bonus item (a piece of fruit, perhaps) appears on the other side. Once you get that, the other half of the maze spawns new pellets in a different pattern, and the chase begins again. The power pellets are limited too, and you have to play it clever to ensure you don't get caught without a handy one close by. It has six game modes, each with their own mazes and time limits. The game could have been yet another forgotten chapter in Pac-Man's history, but while it adds new elements, it retains enough of the game's original appeal to keep fans happy.
