Good intentions

The Happy Pear has being doing sterling work in putting some health back into our diets, with its colourful fruit and veg shop in Greystones, Co Wicklow. The team, led by Stephen and David Flynn (left), is planning its first residential course on tools for a healthier lifestyle, which will take place in nearby Spruce Lodge, Kilternan, Co Dublin, next Friday to Sunday. The course will involve plenty of healthy food and lots of juices, giving the body the chance to recover from the seasonal excesses. The cost is €150 for day students or €275 including accommodation.
