Stumped for a gift to give to the bride and groom? Dressing the table is back in vogue. Irish Linen House* offers a monogramming and inscription service on table runners, napkins and placemats. The linen is off-white and inscriptions can be done in six different colours. Prices start at €20 for a small inscription on a table runner. The linen used is Irish, while design, embroidery and manufacture are all done in-house in Dublin. Table runners are €99.95 for a 150cm by 36cm design.

A set of four delicate hem-stitched placemats costs €78. Lined placemats cost €165 for a set of six. Napkins, sold in sets of four, are €70, and €106 for six. House of Linen is stocked by Arnotts, Kilkenny Design, Carraig Donn and Foxford Woollen Mills.
