Irish ceramics with a Chinese twist

You don’t have to travel to the Far East to see some Irish ceramics inspired by China

You don’t have to travel to the Far East to see some Irish ceramics inspired by China. Bricks in the Rain, at the Farmleigh Gallery in the Phoenix Park, features ceramics, video and sound installations as well as interviews, all created by our top ceramic artists in response to a five-week residency at Fule International Ceramic Art Museum in X’ian, China.

The artists used local materials and glazes to create work which is on permanent display at the Irish pavilion in the Fule museum in China. Bricks in the Rain features other work reflecting their experiences during the residency. Until Oct 14th at the Farmleigh Gallery, bricksintherain.com.
