Singing Nina, the story of Nina Simone, runs at the Pavilion Theatre tonight. Performed by Chicago singer Karen Underwood, the performance tells the story of Simone's life and music. 8pm, €16-18. paviliontheatre.ie

CORK

The Laya Healthcare Street Performance World Championships take place in Fitzgerald Park in Cork city this weekend. This is a free festival, with circus acts, buskers and a range of entertainment, including Mario (left) and Lisa Lottie (right). From noon to 8pm tomorrow and Sunday. DONEGAL

The Earagail Arts Festival continues until July 22nd throughout Donegal. This weekend's highlights include Kentish town siblings Kitty, Daisy and Lewis (left) who perform tomorrow at 8pm in Ramelton's Town Hall Theatre. Also this weekend, The Glebe Cultural Summit runs on Saturday and Sunday, curated by journalist and broadcaster Sinéad Gleeson. eaf.ie

WATERFORD

The Robert Boyle Summer School begins on Sunday and runs until Wednesday and is taking place in his birthplace of Lismore. Witness recreations of Boyle's experiments, talks on his life and work, and a guided coach tour of areas of scientific interest. LIMERICK

More than 4,000 people and 130 tag teams will travel to Limerick this weekend for Pig'n'Porter – one of the world's largest tag-rugby festivals. The competition kicks off in Old Crescent Rugby Club tomorrow. It ends on Sunday with a Father Ted-style fancy dress ball. pignporter.com

The Galway Film Fleadh continues until Sunday, with new Irish short films, documentaries, features and screenings of some classic movies, and an afternoon with Isabelle Huppert (below) on Sunday

LIMERICK

A tour from the people behind Art for Art's Sake takes place in Limerick tomorrow, beginning at noon at Arthur's Quay car park.
