RugbyRugby fans have a double bill of Heineken Cup semi-final action on April 26th and 27th, with London Irish versus Toulouse at Twickenham on the Saturday and Munster versus Saracens in Coventry on the Sunday.

Munster Sports Travel (061-414717) is offering a two-match deal from Dublin for €669, including tickets. If it's only Munster you're after, Marathon Travel (01-4755010) has two nights' B&B at Premier Travel Inn in Coventry, a 15-minute walk from the stadium, plus standing tickets, for €359 per person sharing. Abbey Travel (01-8047100) is taking registrations for the Heineken Cup final, in Cardiff on May 24th. It will refund the €150 deposits should the unthinkable happen and Munster not make the final.

SoccerMarathon also has packages for Liverpool versus Chelsea in their Champions League semi-final first leg on April 22nd, including a night's accommodation and match ticket in the Liverpool section, for €599. A week later Manchester United play Barcelona in their semi-final second leg. One-night packages, staying in Manchester, cost €549. Abbey Travel also has corporate packages to Wembley for the FA Cup Final, between Cardiff City and Portsmouth on May 17th, from €1,499. They include flights, a night at a four-star hotel and a corporate-seat ticket.

Horse racingDawson Travel (021-4274397) has a two- night deal for Epsom Derby weekend, June 6th and 7th, staying in a four-star hotel in London, from €499. You get the train to Epsom. A fortnight later is Royal Ascot, when the same company has three nights from €749. Both deals are from Cork.

Formula 1The Travel Department (01-6371600) has three-night packages for the German (July 18th) and Hungarian (August 1st) Grand Prix. Staying in Hockenheimring or Budapest, they cost from €599 and €729 respectively, including flights, transfers, hotel and tickets to races and qualifiers.
