Do you fancy sustainable Swiss service, or a great estate closer to home?

Swiss-Swoo

Switzerland's newest hotel, the Valsana, officially opened its doors this week. Designed by the ultra-cool Swiss architect Carlo Rampazz, the hotel has a focus on sustainable food and service and is the first hotel in Switzerland to be heated by geothermal probes and an ultra-modern ice battery.

Each of the 40 rooms and suites and nine serviced apartments comes equipped with vintage record players and hammocks on the balconies overlooking the Obersee Lake. Guests are invited to sledge, ski, hike or simply chill at one of their weekly film nights in the picturesque setting of Arosa. For more visit valsana.ch.
