Two people found dead with gunshot wounds in Herefordshire

Two people have been found dead with gunshot wounds in the Ledbury area of Herefordshire.

A West Mercia Police spokesman said officers were called to the scene of the incident at about 9.30am today.

He said: “We are dealing with an incident in the Ledbury area where two people have been found dead at an address with gunshot wounds.

“They have not be named as formal identification has not yet taken place by the family.

“We are treating the deaths as unexplained, and it is too early to speculate what took place, and police inquiries are continuing along with postmortems.”

The spokesman would not comment on the genders of the pair, or where the bodies were discovered.
