Sunday’s racing at Tramore cancelled after heavy rain

Waterford track falls victim to the weather with Tuesday’s Tipperary meet also off

Tramore hosts an 8.00 morning inspection to see if its Monday card can go ahead. The track’s programme on Sunday was cancelled in the morning due to waterlogging.

Tuesday’s Tipperary card has already been called off after being found to be waterlogged on Sunday. 17mms of rain had fallen before the decision was taken, with more rain forecast.

Monday’s card is due to include a pair of Willie Mullins trained runners, including Sister Saragh, a half sister to last year’s good bumper performer, Bordini, who is set to take her chance in the finale if racing goes ahead.
