Set before the Autobots and Decepticons left Cybertron for Earth, this third-person shooter puts you at the heart of the civil war that eventually ravaged the planet. Rather than just a mindless shoot-’em-up, War for Cybertron uses strategy just as much as firepower. You will have to master transformation and learn exactly where to use it to progress through the campaign’s levels. One of the best elements of the game is the transformation sequences, which are fluid, well though out and downright fun. Side by side with the co-operative campaign is the multiplayer mode which pits players against up to nine other competitors. This is where War for Cybertron really shines, with fast and furious action. One for dedicated fans and newcomers to the franchise alike.
