Irish course in Tyrone

Three different levels available

There will be a five day “dianchúrsa Gaeilge” (intensive Irish course) in Pomeroy, County Tyrone, from Monday 30th June until Friday 4th July 2014. It is the fifth year that the course has been run in the heartland of Tyrone and organiser, Kathleen Burns, said that the aim was to provide people with a chance to improve their written and spoken Irish by choosing one of the three different levels on offer: beginners; intermediate or advanced. The cost is £60.00 per person for the week.

Ms Burns said it was “a unique opportunity to network with other adults learning and speaking Irish language in a relaxed atmosphere. The course will help you to become more confident in the use of the language”. A guided cross-Border tour would be included as part of this year’s programme, she said.
