Lidl have a mini wine offer to coincide with Easter. The promotion includes an off-dry Riesling feinherb from Markus Molitor (€12.99), a German sparkling rosé (€24.99) and something a little unusual – a rosé made from Malbec (Suelo Malbec Rosé €9.99), as well as the more usual red below.

Markus Molitor is a highly regarded producer from the Mosel in Germany, and owner of a number of top vineyards. Both the Riesling, and the sauvignon below are worth trying out.

Classic zesty, floral sauvignon aromas with racy peach and apple fruits, finishing dry. Good on its own or with salads. Abv 12.5%, €13.99.
