Restored church for over €250,000

A beautifully restored former Church of Ireland within four miles of Mullingar, Co Westmeath, which has been operating as a restaurant and cookery school, is to be offered for sale at auction on Friday, 12th December.

Sherry FitzGerald McGill is guiding in excess of €250,000 for the award-winning Belfry Restaurant and Cookery School in the Knockdrin church, which has been extended and refurbished over the years and is now a popular venue for both local and other business clients. It has superb dining rooms and a bar, which is popular with tourists on historic trips or walking tours in the midlands as well as wedding parties.

The former church, dating back to 1820, is located less than 4km from Mullingar town centre in a heavy traffic location just off the N4.
