Porsche takes to the hills

An international TV advertising campaign for Porsche is being shot this week in the Wicklow hills. Stephen Frears, the director behind High Fidelity, The Grifters and Dangerous Liaisons, will direct the commercial. He also directed The Snapper and The Van in less glamorous locations in Ireland.

Liam Marnane was named Marketer of the Year in 1993 for Cadbury's Time Out, Michael O'Rourke won the award the following year for GoodFella's Pizza, and last year John Foley's inspired decision to bring in John Rocha to create a new look for Waterford Crystal helped him win the title.
