Facilities services group Integrated Service Solution reports ‘satisfactory’ year

Facilities services group Integrated Service Solutions (ISS) grew its business in Ireland in 2014, as revenues rose by 3 per cent to €77.6 million.

ISS, which provides office management services including cleaning and washroom services and security, also grew its profits before tax in the year to December 31st 2014 , up slightly to €1.9 million. Cleaning services and facility management accounted for 84 per cent of the company's turnover, with hygiene and security making up the rest.

In the notes accompanying the accounts filed with the Companies Registration Office, the directors said that the level of business during the year was “satisfactory” and expects it to be sustained for the foreseeable future.

The directors said that the main risks facing the company are “unrealistic increases in wages”, or infrastractural cost which would affect its competitiveness, as well as overall risks to the Irish economy.
