Get ready, the Steam machines are coming, bringing PC gaming to your TV in high definition.

Dell's Alienware version is one of the more visually attention-grabbing devices, with the distinctive styling for which the brand has become renowned. It's still a few months off – slated for release late this year – but a few details have emerged. It will be based on an Intel processor with Nvidia powered graphics. And the price? Well it will be "competitive with next generation consoles". So that leaves a pretty wide open field.
