Microsoft ventures into noise-cancelling headphones market

We are used to Microsoft bringing out new computers. Laptops, tablets, all in ones: it makes sense. But what was a bit of a surprise was the Surface Headphones. Noise-cancelling headphones at that.

With a built-in microphone for voice calls too, and touch controls on the ear cup. Set for release on March 1st, the Surface Headphones have quite a bit going for them. But the key question is: how do they sound?
