Drones are becoming an increasingly popular sight as the technology improves and the devices get a little cheaper. Parrot, who brought us the AR Drone a few years ago, is back with another one – the AR Drone 2.0 Elite edition. Like its predecessor, it’s controlled by your smartphone or tablet, including Android devices, but the new version comes with a 720p high definition camera at the front so you can see what it does as it flies. A second camera underneath streams at a lower resolution. It’s also more stable, and the Elite edition comes with a choice of bodies – sand, snow and jungle. It’s still a bit pricey for what is essentially a toy, even if it’s a fun toy.
