Vodafone to add 113 jobs as it expands Irish business

Vodafone Ireland has announced more than 100 new jobs across its business as the company seeks to develop its Irish business.

Just over half of the roles will be permanent, with 51 one-year contract positions and five graduate jobs.

A total of 113 new roles will be created in technology and networks, customer service, HR, finance, sales and marketing. 57 of these new positions will be permanent, with a further 51 contract roles and five graduate recruits.

Chief executive Anne O’Leary said the jobs were being created as the company embarked on a major nationwide network investment to meet increasing customer demand for mobile, broadband and data services.

The news was welcomed by Minister for jobs Richard Bruton.

Vodafone currently employs 1,100 people in the State.
