Carrier plans to hold ‘open day’ in Dublin for prospective candidates

Ryanair is seeking to hire 50 new IT and digital specialists to revamp its website, Ryanair.com.

The carrier said it plans to recruit web developers, designers, analysts, software engineers, SEO and content, CRM and email specialists to transform its website and design a new mobile app .

The new staff will work out of the company’s new Dublin offices in Airside, Swords.

As part of the recruitment process, the airline is holding a “web open day” at its Swords offices on Saturday, February 8th.

Interested candidates are advised to register on the Ryanair.com website, with those selected to attend enjoying a free breakfast and free flights to a destination of their choice.

Ryanair's Robin Kiely said: "As Ryanair rolls-out our new digital strategy, we're hoping to recruit over 50 IT and digital professionals to drive these revolutionary developments."

The airline has pledged to make its website more accurate and consumer-friendly following complaints from users about misleading and hidden charges.
