Emirates Airlines is to create 25 jobs in Ireland, as it opens its first office in Dublin and prepares to begin a new route to Dubai.

The jobs, to be based at the city-centre office and Dublin airport’s T2, will include posts in sales, reservations, ticketing, finance, airport operations and cargo.

The Dublin-to-Dubai route is set to begin from January 9th. The Irish operation will be headed by Aer Lingus’s former head of European sales, Margaret Shannon.
