Next Sunday, Norma Smurfit will host the Spring Clean for Charity Sale in Dublin’s RDS. The sale will feature fashion, toys, trinkets, gadgets, games, DVDs and assorted bric-a-brac. There will be more than 100 stalls on the day, with goods donated from all over the country, and all proceeds will go towards the Society of St Vincent De Paul and Smurfit’s own charity, the Irish Famine Commemoration Fund.
A number of well-known faces from Irish television, radio and business – including Lorraine Keane, Bill Cullen and Celia Holman Lee – will be taking part, in an effort to raise as much as possible for the chosen charities.
The Spring Clean For Charity Sale will be open to the public from 11am-5pm next Sunday, in the Serpentine Hall in the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. Admission is €2. For further information or to donate items, telephone Anne Dargan on 01-2103860 or e-mail springcleanforcharitysale2010@gmail.com.
