iTunes Festival London 201212+ cert, Apple, iPhone (also iPad, iPod Touch)
Next month sees the iTunes Festival kick off in London, with different acts playing live every night in September. So, whether you are into Ed Sheeran, Plan B, Bat for Lashes, The Killers, DeadMau5 or Beth Orton, you have 30 days of music to look forward to.
That is, of course, if you can make it over there. If you can't, the next best thing is the app. Not only will it help you distinguish your Usher from your Elbow with some handy information on each act, it gives you the chance to watch live every night from your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
In the run-up to the events, you can also use the link-in with iTunes to buy albums for artists you are planning on seeing (if you haven't already) and keep up with the news from the festival throughout the month.
If there are tickets available in competitions for any of the events, you can enter through the app at the touch of an on-screen button.
Once everything is done and dusted, the video files will be available through the app so you can replay them over and over – but only for a limited time.
