That age-old feline-canine battle rages on in the cinemas, and now on the Nintendo DS as well. This is the usual game tie-in. Taking on the roles of three of the film’s main characters (rookie canine agent Diggs, feline double agent Catherine and stool pigeon Seamus), players find themselves in a puzzle-based game that has one ultimate goal: take down Kitty Galore and her evil minions. game itself is fairly run-of-the mill. There are about 45 missions, involving overcoming obstacles and the like, across environments inspired by the film, but they grow repetitive. There's nothing outstanding about Cats & Dogs;it follows a tried-and-tested formula, which should please young fans of the movie.
