Neuroscientist Ryuta Kawashima is famous for his mental workouts, but the latest title combines exercises for both mind and body. The game requires sharp thinking, but instead of pushing buttons while sitting, you have to be a little more active. You might have to wave your arms around pretending to be a clock, or doing your best flag-waving impressions on command (red flag up, white down). Maybe even some football-related arithmetic – do the sum, kick the correct ball. The game is fun, and for the most part works well with the Kinect controller, although it’s
a little too gentle to make any real impact on your fitness. Also, some of the minigames let it down. One became so frustrating that it was easier to give up and take a bad score rather then try to do the foot movements correctly.
