The limitations of Toki Tori 2 should be a source of frustration. After all, your character (a small bird) can't do much beyond chirp and stomp, but you're expected to navigate your way through levels and avoid airborne obstacles that seem to only want to bring you back to their nest and keep you there. There is also very little in the way of direction, so it's up to you to figure it out. And your character is flightless into the bargain. But Toki Tori 2 is sneaky. There's an intense sense of competition in trying to complete the levels and manipulating others to do exactly what you want to ensure your earthbound character makes its way successfully through the levels. It may be something as simple as snagging a lift with the aforementioned snatching birds, or slightly more complicated in that you have to manipulate the bird into snatching another creature. Sometimes you feel like you only get one shot at it, so the pressure to get it right first time is high. It's stealthily addictive. A colourful crowd pleaser.
