This generation seems to worship cats more than the Pharaohs did. When we’re not watching or uploading endless videos of slapstick kitties on YouTube, we’re photo-shopping memes and cartoons to imagine their reaction to countless news events. Wake the Cat will appeal to both the feline fan and puzzle addict. Your objective is to get a ball of yarn to the sleeping white kitten to shake it from its slumber. Different items can be used to get the yarn across the room to its furry destination. Slippers act as teleportation devices, for example, and endlessly moving toy trains can be used to bounce the yarn around corners. If you’re playing to learn about physics, you’ve come to the wrong place. If you want a puzzle game delivered with a cute white kitten, well your super niche needs will be met. Incidentally, I can’t think of a context where a cat has to be woken up, apart from when it’s on your favourite chair (this isn’t over, Mittens!).
