What would be on your fantasy rider?The Ronettes.

What's your pre-gig ritual/ routine?Yogi throat tea and red wine.

How do you get to the gig – limo, taxi, walking?Walking if solo, van if not.

What's the best gig you've been to?Many! But David Kitt's Big Romance gig at Vicar Street in December was the most special gig I've seen this year.

And the worst?Many! But I will respectfully decline to name names.

Ecologically speaking, are you closer to Radiohead Or Motörhead?Motörhead.

Who is the most famous person to have shown up at one of your gigs?Mike Scott and Aiden Gillen (I was a huge Queer as Folkfan).

Most embarrassing on-stage moment?Headbutting the mic stand with the mic attached off the stage (it was involuntarily).

Chatting between songs – good or bad?Good. Even though personally I really shouldn't.

How many roadies does it take to change your lightbulbs (ie, how big is your entourage)?Sometimes one, sometimes eight.

Have you a special stage wardrobe?Absolutely not.

Any useful stage tips?Don't be drunk.

Who's invited to your aftershow party?Everyone.
