This will be followed by The Island Lullaby, first written to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the evacuation of the Blasket Islands. Among those set to perform on the night are Musici Ireland, New Dublin Voices, and soloists Lynn Hilary (soprano, above), Niamh Ní Charra (concertina), Aoife Ní Bhriain (Violin) and Noreen O'Donoghue (Harp). Another year passes, and another Vibe for Philo takes place. This year the memory and influence of Thin Lizzy's Phil Lynott is celebrated and recalled by the likes of The Dark Lanes, Bad Reputation, The Low Riders, and The Barley Mob. You'll be singing The Boys Are Back in Town before you know where you are, believe me.
