Louise Kennedy wedding dresses

Chantilly lace the signature feature

Long, creamy embellished lace dresses, the stuff of dreams, make up Louise Kennedy's new bridal collection. The fine Chantilly lace comes from the famous French maker Sophie Hallette (the same as used by Kate Middleton at her wedding) and Kennedy has it hand-beaded with crystal in her workshops in India. Ten new gowns make up this season's 1930s-inspired collection – one called Poppy has a scalloped lace neckline with the finest tulle lace. Another called Zarah has a Swarovski encrusted bodice and a pleated skirt of silk georgette, while the Sissi has a starburst bodice in silk georgette. Prices start from €3,995 and as these dresses are made to measure they must be ordered six months in advance. See louisekennedy.com
