MUNICH: "The weather was gusty Irish, which might have held back a few people from coming, but overall there were about 15000 spectators," says parade organiser Nicole Werner. "The motto of the parade was "Irish-Bayrisch" - so Irish-Bavarian. We had the Munich Ceili Band playing with the Niederbayerische Musikantenstammtisch (traditional Bavarian music-group) and the mixed dancing showed how harmonious Irish and Bavarian fit together."
