Week Six
This week, we are working on extending the distance you can swim comfortably from 1,100m to 1,200m. able to swim 1,100 metres. This week's programme focuses on: front crawl arm pull, breathing and tumbling. Your swimming coach, former Olympian Melanie Nocher offers tips on these and techniques for treading water in our instruction video. If you are taking part, you need to be able to commit to three training sessions a week. Remember, you can register for Swim Ireland's Swim for a Mile challenge at swimforamile.com.

Total distance = approx. 1,100m
Session Two
Total lengths = 60
Total distance = approx. 1,200m
Session Three
