Art Deco at O’Reilly’s

Aficionados of the decorative styles of the 1920s and 1930s may be interested in Wednesday's sale at O'Reilly's Auction Rooms in Francis Street, Dublin, of jewellery, silver and watches.

Art Deco lots include a platinum ruby and diamond bracelet (€17,000-€18,000); a diamond ring surrounded by calibre-cut sapphires (€12,000-€14,000); a gold compact, topped with a ruby cabochon, signed Cartier, Paris (€7,500-€8,000) and, a geometric diamond brooch (€6,000-€8,000).

A Victorian garnet-set gold bracelet, modelled as a snake, in original fitted case is €2,500-€3,000.
