Sunday (March 22nd): Hegarty's Fine Art & Antiques Auctioneers, Bandon, Co Cork. A set of four pencil sketches of Kiki (his mistress Yvonne Aubicq's dog) by Sir William Orpen €7,400 (€8,000-€10,000).

Monday (March 23rd): RJ Keighery, City Auction Rooms, Waterford. A Waterford Crystal 12- branch chandelier €4,200 (€3,500-€5,000). Wednesday(March 25th): O'Reilly's Auction Rooms, 126 Francis Street, Dublin 8. A late 19th-century brooch by Giuliano, modelled as a clover, set with diamond, ruby and moonstone, stamped "C & A G" for the London-based Italian jewellers Carlo and Arthur Giuliano, in its original fitted case €5,000 (€4,500 – €5,000).

Today and Tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday, March 28th & 29th): Matthews Auction Rooms Warehouse Receivers' Clearance Auction at Greenogue Business Park, Rathcolle, Co Dublin (N7, Junction 4) at noon each day, with 40,000 lots including modern furniture, porcelain, china, rugs, glass, silver, bronze.

Tuesday (March 31st): Oliver Usher’s Auction Rooms, John Street, Kells, Co Meath: Antiques auction takes place at 5pm.
