Developer Mornington New Homes launched the first phase of its new scheme at Maydenhayes in the grounds of Donacarney House and demesne in Mornington, Co Meath, in August 2015. With the 43 homes sold, a second phase of the scheme is for sale through joint agents Knight Frank and Sherry Property.

This phase includes a mixture of three-, four- and five- bedroom semi-detached homes, and also four- and five- bedroom detached houses.

Prices start at €235,000 for the three-bedroom 110sq m units, up to €357,000 for the 162sq m five-bedroom detached houses.

The redbrick houses, which are close to the beach and golf clubs at Bettystown and Laytown, have A2/A3 energy ratings and air sourced heat pumps to keep heating and hot water costs down.
