A new development of traditionally built three- and four- bedroom homes located close to the Dublin mountains launched last weekend.
The homes are two-storey A-rated houses with front and rear gardens and off-street parking.
The traditional style homes have been designed with family living in mind, with well-proportioned rooms and high- quality finishes throughout.

The houses were built by Maplewood Residential, who are responsible for the Beechdale housing estate, and designed by Delphi architects.
The DodderBrook scheme is located on the Oldcourt Road, Ballycullen, a half-hour drive from Dublin city centre and a five-minute drive from the M50. The area is also well serviced by Dublin Bus and Luas stops at Tallaght and Cheeverstown, which has a park- and-ride facility.
Custom kitchens
DodderBrook comprises 135 units, 129 houses, six two- bedroom apartments.
The houses have custom-designed fitted kitchens with integrated doors for appliances, and 2.75m (9ft) high ceilings on the ground floor, giving rooms an airy, spacious feel.
Buyers have a choice of Shaker-style kitchen in a range of colours: black ash, stone grey or mussel, or a plain panel, handle-less door for a decidedly modern feel.
Bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with an oak finish and brushed chrome door knobs. Bathrooms have black and white fittings, pressure showers and porcelain tiling on floors.
While the houses may have a traditional look, these A3-rated homes are built with energy efficiency in mind.
Energy-saving features such as wall, floor and roof insulation, along with innovative heat pumps, will help keep bills low.
The houses all have front and rear gardens and off-street parking, with space for two cars at the front of the house.
The first phase of the DodderBrook development launches three house types, all named after flowers or plants.
Three-bed, semi-detached houses (the Snowdrop) range in size from 118sq m, and are priced from €332,500.
Four-bed, semi-detached houses (the Primrose) range in size from 130-139sq m, and are priced from €375,000.
Four-bed, detached houses (the Honeysuckle) range in size from 130-139sq m and are priced from €420,000.
The scheme will include a number of three-bedroom terraced houses and two-bedrooms in the future, while there are also plans for a creche to be built.
So far, 40 houses have been released in the scheme with 10 homes sold off plans; 135 houses are planned for entire scheme.
Thirty of the houses were sold at the weekend, when two viewings took place.
