Food for the soul and the body

Think Shrubby Cinquefoil (pictured), or Belted Galloway cattle and think of the Burren, which will be coming into full bloom during May. Limestone landscape guide Tony Kirby of Heart of Burren Walks has teamed up with Co Clare chef patron Aidan McGrath of Lisdoonvarna’s Wild Honey Inn to offer food for the soul and body during the spectacular wildflower season. The duo are offering two weekend breaks, May 16th-18th and May 23rd-25th, with guided walks by Kirby, and two nights B&B in the AA four-star rated inn. The package includes one evening dinner in McGrath’s restaurant, which holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand, two packed lunches and transport to and from the walks each day. Cost is €210 per person sharing, or €230 single.
