Begorrah, 'tis a Disney break in Ireland

Go Niche:DISNEY'S VERSION of Ireland is so lovely you'd want to go there yourself.

Just check out the Ireland Family Vacation offered by Adventures by Disney, a lesser known part of Mickey’s empire.

The seven-night trip, starting in Dublin’s Westin Hotel, allows you to “experience days of yore” at Dublin Castle, and “taste the good life” at the Guinness Storehouse before visiting the Book of Kells.

Next it’s on to Cashel, “a picturesque town full of royal lore” followed by Killarney, where your family “will be warmly welcomed by the Town Crier”. Of course.

There are traditional Irish dance lessons, a cheese-tasting session, and a visit to Muckross House by horse and car.

Explore the town that evening, where “you might just find the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!”, and then join your seanachai for a cruise of Lough Leane.

Moving on to Dromoland Castle, there’s a trip to Bunratty Folk Park, a chance to “revel like a true Irishman” in an evening of dancing and singing plus a jaunt to the Cliffs of Moher.

They’ve even factored in a morning spent on a working farm, feeding lambs and eating homemade soda bread straight from the oven.

Sounds good enough to eat, even if the entire shebang comes in at around €3,000 per person.

Indeed even the weather gets Disneyfied.

According to the website, “during the summer months the weather in Ireland is mild, with temperatures usually topping out at 65 degrees Farenheit in the day, and dropping down to 50 degrees at night”. And nary a whisper of rain. Talk about fairytales.
