Roam Free: At last, the end of roaming charges is nigh. As of now, costs for using a mobile phone abroad are capped at domestic rates plus a maximum of 5c per call, 2c per text and 2c for MB of data. While roaming charges will be abolished on June 15th, 2017, this new cap means that roaming within the EU is 75 per cent cheaper in the meantime.
