Easy breathing snorkelling, torch envy and the hands-off watch

Easy Breath Snorkel Mask
This is a full-face snorkelling mask that makes underwater exploits a whole lot easier, particularly if you're not experienced. And there's less of the nasty rubbery taste – and nagging "who wore this last?" thoughts. Of course, a much better view too with 180-degree field of vision, so you don't miss that elusive dolphin card trick at the corner of your eye. A double-flo system is supposed to keep the mask from fogging up and the top of the snorkel seals automatically once you go under.

Gobe Torch
Torch envy can be a terrible thing. The Gobe is certainly a flashlight to leave other torches, well, er, in the shade. Thanks to a system of six interchangeable heads including a pair of spotlights, a wide angle, a red light, a searchlight and a light for use underwater, it's a true multi-tasker. Rechargeable too, giving up to 54 hours from a full charge. The Gobe is tough, waterproof to 120m and weighs just 160g.

Seiko Astron GPS Solar Watch
No winding, no setting, no batteries: Seiko's Astron is just about as hands-off as you can get with a watch. Except you do have to put its GPS tracking into airplane mode like your smartphone when you're flying. It's solar powered and uses GPS data to triangulate your location, then automatically sets the time accordingly. It keeps the accuracy spot on by checking against the internal clocks in each satellite.
