Tralee Circus Festival:Any town that attempts to combat the gloomy dark days of November deserves support – and Tralee in Co Kerry is certainly doing its best by organising a circus festival.

The annual event has been on the go for the past 10 years when it started as a juggling convention and then grew when more diverse acts starting coming. For children who think a circus is all about lions performing in a ring and elephants doing tricks it’s a real eye-opener.

The Tralee Circus Festival is all about performance and the range of international acts gets better every year and the line-up later this week features the Gandini Jugglers, That Man, a non-verbal, interactive, highly skilled piece of fantastic theatre and the breathtaking acrobatics of Tumble Circus.

The main action during the festival which begins on Friday, November 12th till November 14th takes place in the Siamsa Tire Theatre in Town Park and next Saturday there will be two afternoon performances of a specially-designed for families Circus Siamsa show in the theatre. Advance booking advised.
