Big-house cycleCyclists can bike along the "other" River Blackwater, in Co Tyrone, tomorrow week. This 100km event takes in three counties and four big-house estates, including Castle Leslie in Co Monaghan. Charity walksThe annual Mid Tipperary Hillwalkers Autumn Charity Challenge, in aid of the National Council for the Blind of Ireland, starts in Kenmare, on October 9th. You can climb Hungry Hill, walk 16km along the Kerry Way or enjoy easier wood and waterside rambles. The €199 fee includes two nights' BB and one dinner, plus €50 for the NCBI.
