KayakingThe Irish Canoe Union will be running a series of evening kayaking courses for adults throughout the summer at its training centre in the Strawberry Beds, Chapelizod, Dublin.
The courses are at introductory level and operate under the guidance of qualified Irish Canoe Union instructors. Assessment for the ICU Level Two Kayak Skills Award is included at the end of each course.

Walk and talk
Learn more about the capital city with Dublin City Council's community initiative, Let's Walk and Talk. This initiative comprises weekly walks in various parts of the city, themed historical walking tours and other special events.
The historical walking tours last about two hours and are led by historian, author, artist and tour guide Pat Liddy. Daily walking groups meet Sunday to Thursday. Galtee Mór challenge
The second Galtee Mór Charity Challenge in aid of the National Council for the Blind takes place on Sunday, May 31st. Participants will have the option of a high- or low-level walk.
Both walks are for three to four hours and will be lead by experienced guides.
The day will finish with dinner for participants in Kilcoran Lodge Hotel, Cahir.
