MySpace provides a door to Oz
A new generation of Irish are being invited down under through a MySpace page aimed at encouraging 18- to 30-year-olds to apply for the Australian working holiday visa. Tourism Australia has teamed up with MySpace to create www.myspace.com/ workinoz, a site providing information on the Australian working holiday visa and Australia as a tourist destination and the perfect place for a gap year.
Kim Jong Il's games
Fancy a holiday with a difference? A travel operator that organises tours to North Korea, Koryo Tours, is offering trips to coincide with this year's Mass Games in Pyongyang, which run from August 4th until the end of September.
Every day during this period, except Sundays, Kim Jong Il's dictatorship will be staging 100-minute afternoon performances to mark the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
