Holiday show opens at RDS

The Holiday World Show starts next Friday at 1pm at the RDS Simmonscourt, in Dublin 4, with more than 800 exhibitors and 2,000 travel professionals from 70 countries. Passports for Pimlico

You’ll need to bring your passport travelling to Britain by aircraft or ferry under UK immigration legislation published yesterday. Fifteen million people a year who travel by air or sea between Britain and the Republic will face formal passport checks for the first time in more than 80 years. An “electronic border” around the UK will allow immigration control to check passports against passenger lists.
