€7 seat sale at Ryanair
Meanwhile Ryanair is selling 500,000 €7 seats this weekend for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in May and June. The fares must be booked on ryanair.com before midnight, April 4th. The €7 seat sale includes taxes and charges.
From Monday however, Ryanair is introducing a €2 levy per passenger in order, it says, to fund its costs of weather related cancellations and delays. It says that over the past year it has spent over €100m compensating travellers who were delayed or had flights cancelled as a result of the volcanic ash, snow, and national strikes in Belgium, France, Germany and Spain.

The estimated number of sick days being taken in the UK each year to accommodate package holiday deals. The survey, commissioned by easyJet Holidays, found that one in 10 employees would rather take a bogus sick day than ask for an extra day of holidays and miss out on a deal.
